Physiotherapy

As a primary health care professional, a physiotherapist can assess, diagnose, and treat symptoms of illness, injury, or disability. Our goal is to return you to your optimal function and strength, while educating you about your injury.

Physiotherapy treatment is beneficial if you have a new or recurrent acute or chronic injury/pain, disease, or disability that affects how your body functions.

Physiotherapy focus on both prevention, and rehabilitation.

Physiotherapists combine their in depth knowledge of rehabilitation sciences, kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology to assess, treat, and manage pain, injuries, movement dysfunction, and chronic conditions.

Your treatment may include a combination of methods such as:

  • Manual Therapies
  • Mobilization and Manipulation
  • Acupuncture, IMS (Dry Needling)
  • Therapeutic Modalities (Ultrasound, Light Laser, Shockwave, EMS, Heat, Cold)
  • Custom Bracing and Orthotics
  • Taping
  • Exercise programing as needed

Please Note:

Length of treatment may vary depending on individual needs, as well as the type of treatment being provided. Therefore costs associated are not based on duration, rather based upon appointment booking. While we do our best to accommodate all of our patients’ needs, our bookings aim to address 1 area at a time, or a maximum of 2 areas per treatment session if time permits in order to efficiently manage treatments.

If you have any questions concerning your treatment plan, please ask your Physiotherapist for clarification.
